Pictures

If anyone has pictures from the reunion they'd be willing to share, please send them to classof99@gmail.com. We're hoping to make DVDs of the day available to anyone who wants one, both those who were there and those who couldn't make it.

In the meantime, enjoy these pictures.

Great reunion

Thanks to everyone who made yesterday's reunion such a fun time. We had great attendance, lots of help and an overall positive vibe that was contagious.

We've had lots of requests for photos, particularly from classmates who couldn't make it. Just wanted to reassure you that we will get photos up soon. Not today (hello, fireworks) and not tomorrow (gotta catch up on our sleep sometime) but soon.

Thanks again, everyone!

TOMORROW!

Clearly the reunion is, um, well, soon. We're all set to have a great time, and we're excited about the turnout.

If you haven't RSVPed, it's not too late to come. You may have to wait around for us to order a pizza or something before you eat, but you're certainly still invited to join in.

Millions of thanks to our crew of volunteers who showed up this morning to help set up. And thanks to those who are willing to stick around tomorrow night to take down.

We'll see you all tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tautphaus Park Shelter No. 3, and then again at 6:30 p.m. at the high school.

The details

We’ve had some requests for final details about the reunion. And so …

Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. we’ll have our family social at Tautphaus Park Shelter No. 3. (If you want to check out which shelter that is, look here.

We’ll have a frozen treat for everyone. Bring your own picnic lunch if you want. There’s no program for the day activity – just a chance for everyone to get together. Come and go as you please anytime between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Friday evening’s program will be held in the Bonneville High School Commons. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and our buffet-style dinner will be available at that time. We’ll have sandwiches catered by Geraldine’s and plenty of beverages, side dishes and dessert.

We’ll have a 40-minute program that will begin at 7 p.m. We have a few classmates lined up to entertain and a slideshow to present. We expect everyone to keep eating away during the presentation, but to hold the socializing for afterward.

After our simple but fun program, we’ll open the time back up to mingling and socializing. We want everyone to have as much chance as possible to visit – that is the whole idea, right? Everyone is free to leave as they see fit. We’ll start packing things up around 9:30 p.m. or when things start to slow down.

If you haven’t RSVPed yet, please do so we can make last minute catering changes and seating arrangements. So far it looks like the turnout is going to be great.

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone. If you have any questions, shoot us a quick e-mail and we’ll get right back to you.

See you in just a few days.

Second cry for help

Thanks to those who have volunteered to help clean up after the evening program Friday. We could still use more volunteers to help with that, so please shoot me an e-mail if you're available.

We haven't attracted any volunteers to help with the Thursday morning set up. As it stands now, we have one individual who just gave birth a little more than a month ago and one individual who is about to give birth in a little more than a month. Translation: If we can't get more help, we're going to enjoy this reunion while sitting on the floor. And while that brings back fond memories of how life really was back in high school, I think enough of us have aged poorly enough that our bodies would loudly rebuke us.

Understandably a weekday is a tough time for people to get away for a few hours. But if you have any amount of availability -- be it 10 minutes or 2 hours -- the help is needed and appreciated. To sweeten the deal just a little bit, we'll take $5 off your admission charge.

Just shoot me an e-mail if you can help at all.

And if you can't, no need to feel guilty. But you may want to consider packing a camping chair to the reunion with you, just in case.

Volunteers needed

We’re looking for some volunteers to help with our final preparations for the reunion. We need help setting up Thursday late morning and taking down Friday after the program. We could also use some help during the family activity Friday afternoon and during the evening program Friday evening. If you’re available and interested in helping with any of those tasks, please leave a comment or e-mail classof99@gmail.com. We’ll then contact you with more details.

Next Friday!

Thanks to everyone who took the time to RSVP. If you haven't RSVPed yet ... shame on you. That doesn't mean you can't come, but it does mean you have to sit in the front row (kidding, of course).

We've used the RSVP numbers we have to account for food and space, but please still let us know if you can (or can't) make it. We'll do whatever we can to accommodate everyone.

You can take a look at the side column to see who's planning on coming. It should be a great time.

Check this site often over the next few days. We'll have some opportunities for volunteers to help out and some last minute details to communicate to everyone.
